Hey Girls, Gays, & They’s! My name is Capri and I’m a full time artist in downtown denver. My passions include astrology, human design auras, cats, food, laughing all the time, and creating art in all kinds of ways! My full time art (job) is hair. I’m the owner and solo stylist of Capris Hair Studio. My other arts I love doing: woodworking, painting, furniture flipping, fabric macrame art, sewing, home decor, photography, professional airbrush makeup, and sooo much more. My goal everyday is to make the world prettier than it was yesterday. Whether that’s with your hair or your home, it’s truly what I live for!
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family consists of my wife Alicia Nykeymia (since 2011) and our kitty Adonis. I honestly couldn’t have don’t any of this without her! We truly are the epitome of the creative power couple! Alicia Nykeymia is also a full time artist.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Currently owning and creating hair styles at Capris Hair Studio but my wife and I are in the process of starting a youtube channel and an etsy shop for all of our art called The Craft Vixens
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We are vegan and we love Watercourse, City o City, Vegan Van, and Wellness Sushi! Yum!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
So in 2018 we purchased a motor home and left Austin TX. We traveled for a year and ended up here in June 2019. I can honestly say, I’m never looking back!
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Well that’s a hard question to answer. I truly believe ever single person is interesting. So I guess the most interesting person is the one I’m speaking with at any given moment!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Vancouver Canada. Ever since we were young humans, My wife and I both have had a deep calling to that place. We just wanna go see why
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Our favorite movie is 5th element, hands down! Our shows currently consist of documentaries, catfish, insecure, the circle, anything bachelor, and youtube for learning more about whatever subject I’m currently fixated on lol
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Speak to yourself as if you were a twin and that twin is your best friend. We as a society are so dang hard on ourselves. We wouldn’t allow anyone to say those things to the people we love. So don’t say it to yourself either.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Torchys tacos. I had it every week when I lived in Austin and it just takes me back!
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Gary Vaynerchuk. I would love to have lunch with him so I could pick his brain about being an entrepreneur and marketing strategies. How to get to the next level with our channel and etsy. I’d probably take him to watercourse
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Oh this is an easy one, the people! I’ve lived in Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Indiana, Utah, and now Colorado and the best people live here. Everyone is so kind and full of life. I love how colorful everyone is and I feel like if I needed something, I could call on a ton of people. I’ve never felt that before
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 years my wife and I will have a successful online business, I’ll be doing small motivational / couples reconnect classes while living on our ranch with tons of rescued animals!

If I hear a song one time, I will know every lyric to the song. Even if I don’t wanna remember lol

Cancun
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
October when the weather is changing. Halloween for sure, I love dressing up! Best day is July 17th, my wedding anniversary

Baby animals, sunsets, quality time with loved ones, and tacos!

My wife, every single day!

Puppy breath and food!
